Bio

Kendra Franklin is a media professional and journalist from Prince George's County, Maryland. Currently based in Philadelphia, Kendra earned both her Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and Production, with a minor in Content Creation, and a Master's in Journalism from Temple University. During her time at Temple, she kept herself busy and got involved in several student organizations and career-related campus jobs. Most notably, she was Co-President of the TU Public Advocacy Club, an Editor for Templar Yearbook, and Writing Tutor for the Student Success Center.

With over three years of experience in journalism, PR, marketing, copywriting, and digital media, Kendra has honed her skills in a variety of roles. These include Editorial Assistant at Philadelphia Magazine, Social Media Assistant at Philly PR Girl, and Marketing Intern at Cocktail Culture Co., Brand Strategist for Woden, among others.

Aside from her work behind the scenes, Kendra is also creating her own digital footprint as a social media content creator and writer. She aims to build a brand that merges her love for storytelling with insights from her professional and personal journeys.
